Famous sport utility vehicle from Ford was produced
from 1966 to 1996. For three decades, it has been well known for its boxy look
and off-road capability. However, company decided to discontinue this crossover
and all hard core fans has been waiting for 20 years to hear that Ford is
planning to launch Bronco again. There were rumors about it for 2016 and 2017
season, but it is officially confirmed that SUV will appear as 2020 Ford
Bronco. After 25 years it won’t be the same car. Technology has been developed
fast, so new vehicle will be modern and attractive if it doesn’t want to
disappoint. One thing is sure, Bronco is going to keep its legendary boxy
design which is one of its trademarks.
Around 700 million dollars will be invested in 2020
Ford Bronco and other upcoming models, which guarantees interesting future in
crossover market. Great share of that amount will be used for engine testing
and innovations. There are two main points to be focused. First is output.
Crossover offer is now quite wide, so only excellent vehicles could hope to
survive. Other important thing is fuel economy. Encouraging is coming from
current vehicles of US car maker. Mustang and F-150, two very popular models in
their classes, are producing nice amount of power, while having great
efficiency. Same is expected from 2020 Bronco. Mid-size crossover will get the
new 10-speed transmission which is expected in 2018 year Ford models, but until
new Bronco it will surely be launched.

At this point, without official information, we can’t
know too much about 2020 Ford Bronco. One thing is obvious, designers will keep
its boxy appearance. Or at least, they will start from there and we will see
where it is going t o lead them. Be sure that attractive SUV is coming. Bold
grille, similar to the one F-150 truck is using, and aggressive hood and
bumpers will attract all fans of the crossovers. Ground clearance on the new
Bronco should be large enough, so vehicle can go over toughest obstacles. Big
tires are expected, at least 20-inches, which also boosts visual appearance on
this SUV.
