Transmission is 8-speed auto, which could be also mated to 4-cylinder unit. Electric power should come from lithium-ion batteries. Sources say that drivetrain could be only from electric source, but with it 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero can’t reach high speeds. To improve performance, company will install S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) on crossover.
