2018 Jeep Renegade

Jeep is one of the best known crossover maker in the world. From WWII their off-road capabilities were exceptional, and they kept quality even 70 years later. Not only that, but American company is in touch with modern technologies and constant innovations in global market. They developed entire segment, and Jeep offers models for all classes of sport utility vehicles. One of the latest vehicles which are announced is 2018 Jeep Renegade, modern crossover with great feedback for previous models. This SUV fills the spot in small segment, giving excellent performance and small fuel consumption. Nevertheless, traditional boxy appearance is somehow kept, but modified with some modern trends. New Renegade should be attractive both for younger buyers and older drivers.

2018 Jeep Renegade redesign

With some new lines and curves, new 2018 Jeep Renegade is not only more attractive, but these are also functional changes. New styling should improve aerodynamic. All other visual modifications are not so visible. For example, slight changes are prepared for framework, while vehicle is going to keep the same ground clearance. It was perfectly balanced so 2018 Renegade could solve all terrain challenges. 

Other, notable changes are on headlights and bumpers, but final look is not designed yet, since car will be out late in 2017. Interior layout can take 5 passengers. For this model, company prepared new dashboard, while most of the instruments are upgraded or replaced with new features.

2018 Jeep Renegade engines

Two drivetrains are very possible for new 2018 Jeep Renegade. All other crossovers have two different units for their models, so it is with this small SUV. Base Renegade is coming with 1.4-l engine, and experts predict 160 hp coming out of it. Other powertrain is producing around 200 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque from its 2.4-l displacement. Both engines are sending power to a 6-speed auto or manual transmission, which transforms it to front wheels, or to all wheels for other, bigger engine. There are some information that new Renegade could go around 30 mpg.

2018 Jeep Renegade release date and price

Price of the base model, with 1.4-l displacement is starting from around $18,000, while bigger displacement and all-wheel drive system raise its value up to $25,000. Nevertheless, since 2018 Jeep Renegade won’t be out in next 12 months, modifications on price and parts are possible.
